Who is Jet Age Design

Hi there! I’m Cristina Rowe, a flight attendant and design aficionado. First of all, I’d like to let you know how happy I am that you’re here. Of all the things you could be doing, you chose to pay us a visit, and I’m incredibly grateful and honoured for that.
A little about myself… I entered this world at the end of the 60s, spent my childhood in the 70s, became a teenager in the 80s, and lived my young adulthood in the 90s. This gave me the opportunity to witness the aesthetics of these four decades, some in real-time, others through photo albums, TV show reruns, and flea markets.
I’ve been a flight attendant for most of my adult life. After flying for four airlines and experiencing many ups and downs, I still do it with the same passion I had when I first started. Recently, I felt a strong urge to share my love for the airline industry, vintage aesthetics, and design in general. Jet Age Design is a tribute to all the great things that were envisioned, created, and dreamed up during that time.
My intention is not to evoke nostalgia or yearning about the Good old days, instead I want it to be an inspiration to the current generation of creative people. It’s a way to let them know that they can dream with no limits because everything is possible.
I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I do.
